Bellevue: Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar

T had filed his first patent! WOW!!!! We went to Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar to celebrate!

We had Seastar Appetizer Tower, Dungeness Crab & Corn Bisque, Lobster and Filet Mignon with Crab Bearnaise and Hazelnut Grilled Rainbow Trout.

The appetizers and soup were great! The scallops was the best, love it! The thingy on the right that looks like steam egg was the soup. It wasn't as thick as it looks like and so we like it (we don't like soup that taste like sauce...haha).

T chose lobster and steak for main dish and I picked the rainbow trout (I am playing Rune Factory on DS, fishing rainbow trout everyday so I was wondering what does rainbow trout taste like hehehe!)

T's dish was great, lobster is rich in favour and the filet mignon was right at medium rare. The fish, as expected, was a bit dry/overcook for me especially when it only comes with little bit sauce. Not to bad, but not perfect.

Forgot to mention the bread they serve was great! Cripy on the crust, soft & moist inside XD Yeah, we were half full when the appetizers are served! I was stuffed so I didn't had dessert.

Overall, we think the food quality is not yet fine finning but better than causal dinning. Probably around the same quality as Cafe Campagne, but more pricy. I like Cafe Campagne better ;)
